Coach Scipione is in his first year as a coach for Professional Baseball Instruction of Illinois. Coach Scipione is a graduate of Conant High School where he was an all-conference (MSL) and all-area catcher (Cook County) catcher. He received a baseball scholarship to Judson University where excelled on the field as well as in the classroom. As a sophmore he received all-CCAC conference honors and all-region NCCAA Mid-West. Coach Scipione received national male athlete of the week for the NCCAA as a junior and athlete of the week NCCAC conference as a senior. He was also a two time captain as a junior and senior.

Coach Scipione graduated from Judson University with a degree in education and left top five in career hits, runs, rbi’s, doubles, at-bats, and was the single-season doubles record holder with 18 as of his graduation in 2010. Coach Scipione has two years of varsity coaching experience at Genoa-Kingston (2010) and St. Edwards in Elgin (2011). Coach Scipione has given private hitting/catching lessons the past five years and is excited to join the PBI staff.
