Tracey is a softball instructor with over 30 years of experience playing, coaching and umpiring. She graduated from Stephen Decatur High School where she was the Decatur Herald and Review Player of the Year the first two years the award was given. At Greenville (IL) College, she played under NAIA Hall of Fame coach Lynn Simpson Adams, winning the lowest ERA award three of her four varsity years and the MVP award her senior year. Tracey never lost a conference game in her college career. She was also an accomplished base runner, setting a school record for stolen bases and batting .329 her senior year.
After graduating, Tracey went on to teach physical education and health while coaching volleyball and softball in the Wauconda School system for over 20 years.
