Ryan grow up in Minnetonka Minnesota where he was a standout three sport athlete. Some of his accomplishments include 1st team All State in Football, both offense and defense, as well as 1st team All State 3 years for baseball. From there he went to Iowa Western Community College where he became the starting catcher and was 1st team All Conference for 2 years and runner up for All American. From there he went on to play 2 years for Western Kentucky University in the Sun Belt Conference, where he also was 1st team All Conference for 2 years. Out of college Ryan started his own marketing company while still playing and coaching an amateur baseball team that went to the state finals 5 straight years. Last year, at the age of 29, he decided to try out for an independent baseball team in Houston Texas called the Bay Area Toros. He became a player/coach and the Toro’s became the Continental league champions. His playing was cut short last year as he was getting ready to play for the Railcats of Gary Indiana when he broke his hand one week before the start of the season.

Ryan has been a catcher his whole career and has worked camps in Texas and Forida and has taught everyone from little league players to top college standouts.
