Brian McCabe

Brian is an 02′ graduate of Cary-Grove High School where he accumulated many awards including All-Area and All-Conference honors in both baseball and football. After Cary-Grove, Brian attended Illinois Wesleyan University where he started at first base for the four years he was there. At Illinois Wesleyan , Brian compiled an impressive list of offensive accomplishments. He owns top ten career spots in IWU’s all time record book for hits (185), RBI (143), at bats (617) homeruns (26) doubles (40) walks (71), and games played (171). Defensively, Brian anchored the Titan infield at first base to the tune of a .990 career fielding percentage. He was a second team All-CCIW pick in 2004.

After graduation from Illinois Wesleyan, Brian became the infielders and hitting coach at North Park University. After coaching at North Park, Brian went on to coach football and baseball at Cary-Grove High School.

Brian earned a B.A.in Business Administration from IWU in 2006 and is attending Roosevelt University in pursuit of his teaching certification and masters degree.
